Step into the tradition of great artists with our Atelier Class. This is an intensive, skill-based program anchored in the timeless traditions of realist art where visual art education is built on a foundation of drawing and painting skills. You’ll develop a strong foundation in drawing, value, proportion, and form before moving into painting. Learn through observation, repetition, and mentorship in a focused studio environment. In the Fall, we will have both morning and afternoon sessions. You may sign up for either or both.

Our curriculum provides a clear progression and development for any artist interested in academic realism. Each student will have a progression plan and individual assignments based on where they are in their artistic journey. We'll review your portfolio (not required) and design individual assignments based on your previous education and experience. This may include Bargue drawing, cast drawing/painting, figure drawing/painting, portrait drawing/painting, and still life.
Beginner to advanced students are welcome!
