Houston Face-Off

We’re pleased to announce that the Portrait Society is having a “Face-Off” event on Saturday, September 28th for our Portrait Society members in the greater Houston area. Join us for this amazing opportunity to observe local members painting live models! Watch some of Houston’s finest artists at work while meeting your fellow Portrait Society members from the greater Houston area. Everyone is invited to attend this fun and exciting event, so come, bring a friend, and join us! ​
We will have four models, and up to sixteen participating artists. The event will be held at Southern Kindness Gallery in their beautiful 5000 square-foot gallery space located near downtown Houston.

If you are interested in participating as a Face-Off artist, please email your Texas Ambassador at the contact info below. Spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so please respond soon!

- Artists must be Portrait Society Members

- Artists may work in any medium
- You pay the $20 model fee to your model
- You supply an easel, drop cloth, and art supplies
- Model lighting will be provided
- Bring an easel light if desired
- Limited tray tables will be available by request
