At The DaVinci Studios, we use art models for our Portrait and Figurative classes plus Open Studios (painting/drawing from live models)
Do I need experience?
Some of our models are professionals with years of experience, but many of our models are just trying it for the first time! The key requirement is the ability to hold a pose for 20-minute sessions with breaks in between. If it's your first time, we'll coach you on how to get into a comfortable pose.
How much do I get paid?
We pay standard industry rates for art models which is different from photography/fashion models. The current rate is $20/hr for Portrait sessions (clothed), and $25/hr for Figure sessions (nude). Plus tips from the artists! FYI...We will always tell you upfront whether we are looking for nude or clothed models for a particular session. There is never any pressure to do anything that makes you feel uncomfortable.
