Airports
Houston has two primary airports:
Bush International Airport (IAH) is the largest airport. It is located on the north side of town and about 45 minutes from DaVinci Studios. (maybe longer depending on traffic)

Hobby Airport (HOU) is a smaller airport located on the west side of Houston. It is about 30 minutes from DaVinci Studios. It is easier to navigate and closer, but not all airlines fly to HOU.
When you search for flights, just select Houston “all airports” to see which flights go to which airport.
Cars
Important Facts:
Houston has no commuter trains or subways. And yet, nobody walks in Houston...It's just too big! It's the 4th largest city in the U.S!

So, the Question: Rental Car or Uber?
It really depends on how long you are staying, and whether you have a good deal on a rental car. If your main focus is the workshop, using Uber (or other ride-share option) is a valid option.

Uber will cost around $65 (one-way)

- From Hobby Airport:
Uber will cost around $45 (one-way)

DaVinci's Recommendation:
If you plan to stay and explore Houston after the workshop, you may want a car. Houston is big! If you just need transportation to and from the Studio, and plan to stay around Sugar Land, Uber is fine. DaVinci is very close to hotels and restaurants.
Hotels
Sugar Land Town Square
Below is a list of recommended hotels. There are a lot of hotels around, but we've had good reports on these. Also, the area around Sugar Land Town Center has lots of restaurants available. All are very close the DaVinci Studios and these hotels.
The Houston Marriott Sugar Land
This is our favorite because of the location. It's a nice hotel that is near our studios and located in the Sugar Land Town Center which has a lot of restaurants and shopping. A little more expensive but a lot to see and do. Click HERE for more info.
The Courtyard by Marriott Houston -
Sugar Land/Lake Pointe
Has a lake view and access to a few restaurants within walking distance. (across a walking bridge)

This hotel is very close to the studios, and a little cheaper. Nice but without any extras.
