Join master portrait artist Suchitra Bhosle this October 19–22 at The DaVinci Studios for an immersive oil painting workshop.
Learn how to strip away complexity by translating three-dimensional forms into flat shapes, mastering the art of how to see and maintain the sense of “flat seeing”.
Dive deep into color theory to accurately interpret warm and cool tones, unlocking the skin-tone color relationships and atmospheric relationships needed to bring a portrait to life.
Rooted in mindfulness and presence, this workshop guides you to see in the "here and now," helping you capture deep, evocative moods on your canvas.

Suchitra paints in a representational realistic style drawing inspiration from 20th century naturalist painters. She embraces impressionism to depict everyday representational scenes. Suchitra excels at capturing and expressing the mood of her subjects, often in contemplative classical settings. This lends a timeless yet intimate quality to her paintings.
Suchitra is represented in leading fine art galleries across USA. Her paintings have won awards at international juried shows hosted by The Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America and American Impressionist Society. she serves as faculty for portrait society of america.
Suchitra is currently based in Chicago, but haas lived in Bangalore and California.
